Best Ever Chocolate Banana Milkshake

Ingredients

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon raw cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon or so of cinnamon
  • 1 scoop protein powder, optional (use plain, vanilla or chocolate)

Place everything in blender, blend until combined. Serves one.

 

Notes:

Currently I’m using Garden of Life Protein powders. I like that their original powder is not sweetened with stevia or any other sweetener as I prefer to sweeten mine with fruits of choice. Tip…always freeze your older bananas instead of throwing them away so you will have them on hand for smoothies or raw banana ice creams like my Almond Chunky Monkey Ice Cream or Chocolate Banana Ice Cream…they are sweet and super healthy at this stage.
